GOMEN NASAIIIIII D:
You guyyyyyys. T_T
I am SO sorry I have not been around and tagging lately! I'm seriously so mad at myself and I don't know what to do. I don't even want to ask for fades because all of the threads I have going right now are so awesome, but I'm starting to think that's what I'm going to have to do. I'll let them sit there for a few more days at least, but… Seriously, every time I even start to think about tagging, I just feel so overwhelmed. I don't even know why; 15 threads isn't all that much.
So anyway, I'm really really sorry. You guys deserve more of my attention than I've been giving, and I know it's really hard to get into threads when they're in such epic slowtimes. I haven't even been tagging back once a day, which should be the least I can manage.
I really love you guys, despite my fail. And I'm really sorry.
This does absolutely nothing for anyone, but I have a drawing I just pumped out in the past few hours…

This is Nick! He's the Knight under Jupiter, and he's an awesome character. This picture is kind of odd for me because I usually picture him with his cap, haha. But it sort of went with something I had in my head, in which he was not wearing it. But I digress…
Everyone who's read my sister's book has really loved Nick. Which is kind of saying something, because none of us who have read it are particularly drawn to this type of character—the scrappy kid, the underdog, the delinquent. He's really adorable, though, and he's fun because he's your basic Dickensian orphan character (Cockney accent and everything), and he's kind of been thrown into the lap of luxury and is still getting used to it (and still called gutter trash by a lot of the people he has to deal with now :P). Also, he grew up on the streets of the city, but since he's under Jupiter he's got this really deep connection to nature, so it's an interesting dichotomy. He's almost a metaphor, really. XD
I've been playing him in RP with my sister, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough to shove him into real RP, because I'm really bad with period slang and stuff. XD But he's been on my mind a lot lately. We're just finishing up a thread with him and Julian that went a really fun direction.
It's kind of funny, because in the book you sort of get the impression that Frederick and Julian have adopted him almost; they seem to have placed themselves in charge of trying to keep track of him and make sure he doesn't get in any more trouble with Captain Abrams. It's a full-time job for them. XD Why they've adopted him is a bit more complicated, and has more to do with Julian than Frederick, but again I digress.
Hope you like it! I'm happy with how this one turned out. :3 The photo in the background is one I took in Kyoto. (*random tidbit!*)

I need to have more discussions with people about their characters, maybe. I love sharing the complexities about my own and love hearing about those of other people's. ^_^
The being able to change things is nice too... I'm pretty attached to canon when it comes to my Mways pups, and I think that keeps me from developing them in any significant way at times. With my sister, it's nice because we established early on that things were going a little AU. I should probably either just get over that, or do some more fun what-if things in Mixed Muses.

I love the way you write, and how involved you get, both building things on it and choosing to make details of people and places around it.
And I completely get the rest. So so much.
